Nikolay Shabalin, Polar Expedition Kartesh Project Head Deputy for marine biology and ecology and the LMSU Marine Research Center CEO made a report titled “Research results of the 2015 and 2016 expeditions on board the R/V Kartesh” during the plenary session of MARESEDU-2016 scientific conference. The report featured research activities of the Polar Expedition Kartesh project, announced the 2015 and 2016 expeditions results, specified idiosyncrasies of the 2016 expedition and stated preliminary plans for the 2017 expedition. After the report, Mr. Shabalin answered questions from the audience.
