Expedition participants reached Morzhovets Island located in the White Sea Throat. All the participants (Russian Orthodox Church representatives, researchers, photographers and the camera crew) disembarked at a settlement by the lighthouse.
Dmitry Mikheev, the lighthouse keeper in the fourth generation, is working here on Morzhovets for the last 25 years. He told us plenty of curious facts about the island and the lighthouse.
The photographers gave the seven islanders several landscape photos as a gift. Some of the pictures have been immediately fixed up on the facades of houses, others were placed inside the houses. Later in the evening the vessel departed to Shoyna.
